Firehouse Health Center History

The firehouse was built in 1925, but has since been taken out of service.

To commemorate the historic beginnings of the Firehouse Health Center, a grand opening event was held Jan. 20, 2012.

The event included a ceremony dedicated to Queens' FDNY members who died on Sept. 11.

Firefighters who worked at the firehouse in Jamaica were honored last month as well.
